Currently the world's largest airplane, Ukrainian Antonov An-225 Mriya, (means "Dream" in Ukrainian) practicises above the city centre a few days before the military parade dedicated to Independence Day in Kiev, Ukraine, Friday, Aug. 21, 2009. The An-225 is a strategic airlift transport aircraft which was built by the Antonov Design Bureau. It made its first flight on December 21, 1988.
