They may be expecting, but Myleene Klass and Holly Willoughby didn't let their burgeoning bellies affect their style at the Night Of Heroes Awards last night.

The pregnant TV presenters looked stunning in colourful floor-length gowns as they joined a host of stars, including David Beckham, Katherine Jenkins and X Factor winner Matt Cardle, at the annual military awards, nicknamed 'The Millies'.

Former Hear'Say singer Klass, 32, went for old Hollywood chic in a strapless jade green dress and fur stole, while This Morning host Willoughby, 29, wore a fitted blue wrap gown.

Klass and partner Graham Quinn are expecting their second daughter in March, while Willoughby is pregnant with a sibling for her 19-month-old son Harry in May.

The former pop star, who already has a three-year-old daughter Ava, presented an award at the event at the Imperial War Museum in Lambeth, south London, with Jeremy Clarkson.

Writing on Twitter at the ceremony, she said: 'The Millies. A room full of inspiring service men and women. Feel so proud of my own dad (who served in the Royal Navy)...

'Wish the rioters/general idiots could see the faces of the service children walk to the stage wearing their fallen dads' medals. THAT'S brave.'

On the way to the awards, Willoughby claimed her bump was looking noticeably bigger than normal.

Also bringing some glamour to the ceremony was classical singer Katherine Jenkins, who wore an asymmetrical magenta dress, and newly-crowned Queen of the Jungle Stacey Solomon, who wore a flowing white Grecian number.

Representing Girls Aloud were band members Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh, who posed together on the red carpet.

Redhead Nicola wore an off-the-shoulder leopard-print Vivienne Westwood dress, while Kimberley looked chic in a black and nude lace shift.

It was a reunion of sorts for former Blue Peter co-presenters Zoe Salmon and Konnie Huq, who worked together on the BBC show in the mid-Noughties.

Northern Irish Salmon, 30, wore a strapless, velvet teal mini, while Xtra Factor presenter Huq, 35, showed off her figure in an asymmetrical dress.

While many celebrities attended solo, David Beckham brought his eldest son Brooklyn, while former Brookside actress Bernie Nolan arrived with her daughter Erin, 11.

Beckham was joined by former England teammates Rio Ferdinand and Frank Lampard and his presenter girlfriend Christine Bleakley.

Best week of his life: X Factor winner Matt Cardle (left) performed at the ceremony, which was also attended by Labour leader Ed Miliband

Here come the aristocracy: Andrew Lloyd Webber and Over The Rainbow winner Danielle Hope (left) and actor Sir David Jason and his girlfriend Gill Hinchcliffe

One couple making their red carpet debut was Celebrity Big Brother star Chantelle Houghton and former Crimewatch presenter Rav Wilding.

Also in attendance was Ann Widdecombe, Coronation Street's Helen Worth, soul singer Beverly Knight, David Jason, Ross Kemp, Lord Lloyd-Webber, boy band McFly and Labour leader Ed Miliband.

The annual ceremony celebrates the bravery of the Armed Forces and military heroes and will be broadcast on ITV1 on Friday night.
It was hosted by Amanda Holden and Phillip Schofield.
