Steady: Suri Cruise carefully holds her favourite hot drink during a trip to Starbucks in Vancouver, Canada

Suri Cruise is getting more grown up by the day and fit right in with the adults as she went to get a hot drink from Starbucks today.

The four-year-old was pretty in pink and daintily held her frothy drink in both hands as she made her way from the counter at the coffee shop in Vancouver, Canada.

Always a fashionista, Suri looked adorable in a multi-layered dress which she paired with a flower headband.

Grown up: The four-year-old daughter of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes blew her beverage to cool it down before taking a sip

As she walked her drink she ensured to blow it to help it cool down before taking a sip.

She also darted her eyes upwards to ensure the towering adults around her would not bump into her and spill her beverage.

Suri was accompanied by a nanny and a bodyguard for her stop to get her favourite pick me up.

Earlier in the day, Suri has spent some time with her dad at a local library where Suri was seen flicking through an issue of Vanity Fair magazine.

She later found some more age-appropriate reading - a copy of the children's book, Froggy Gets Dressed.

The family, including Cruise's wife Katie Holmes, 32, and daughter Isabella, 18, are in the city while he films the latest instalment of the Mission: Impossible franchise.

Cruise is, however, already looking to his next project.

He dashed to LA over the weekend to check out a production of Rock of Ages at the Pantages Theatre.

It was recently announced that he is in final negotiations to star in a big-screen version of the hit musical.

He is expected to play Stacee Jaxx, the character who sings Bon Jovi's Wanted Dead of Alive in the theatre production.

Alec Baldwin and Russell Brand are also said to be in talks for big roles in the upcoming film.
