Glowing with health: Cheryl Cole looked better than she has done in ages as she posed for stunning pictures in the new issue of Glamour She had a difficult 2010 with the collapse of her marriage to Ashley Cole and a battle against life-threatening malaria.But now Cheryl Cole appears to be back to her old self - and even seems to have gained a little weight in all the right places.
The Girls Aloud singer and X Factor judge - who has been spending a lot of time in Los Angeles recently - looked healthier than she has done in ages as she posed for some stunning photos for the latest issue of Glamour magazine. 
Defiant: The singer hit back at U.S TV executives who suggested she should tone down her Geordie accent for the U.S version of The X Factor In one photo, Cheryl - dressed in a pink floral playsuit - is positively glowing as she lies back on a stretch of grass.And another black and white snap shows her riding a bike - while the cover sees her showing off her curves as she poses in a fitted white dress. 
The full interview with Cheryl appears in the May issue of Glamour, which is out now Cheryl is currently waiting to hear whether she has landed a job as a judge on the U.S X Factor.Svengali Simon Cowell has said he wants her on board but show executives have expressed concerns that the singer does not have a high enough profile in the U.S - and there has also been some anguish about whether viewers will understand her accentHowever she dropped her strongest hints yet in the magazine that she would be overlooked for the job - by admitting her career diary was empty.'I really plan to not plan,' Cheryl said.
