Don't look Posh! David Beckham turns into oncoming traffic in bid to escape LA gridlock

By Daily Mail Reporter

On daddy duty: David Beckham was buying smoothies for his sons and their friends when he got caught out by bad traffic yesterday

People living in Los Angeles often moan about the awful traffic, and it seems that David Beckham gets just as annoyed.

Yesterday the football star was spotted turning his huge SUV onto an oncoming ramp, despite several large red signs warning 'do not enter - wrong way'.

The footballer had his sons on board at the time, having just treated them to smoothies at a Jamba Juice shop.

Wrong way: The road signs were clearly visible, but Beckham ignored them as he sought to avoid bad traffic caused by President Obama's visit

After sitting in backed up traffic in the Century City area, the father of three was seen making a break for it by performing the U-turn.

Traffic in the California city was especially bad yesterday as President Obama's visit caused multiple road closures.

The resulting gridlock situation made the TV news headlines, with people stuck unmoving for hours on end.

U-turn: The Beckham family car begins to turn against the warning signs

The Beckhams have been spending lots of family time with their sons lately.

Following a family dinner on Friday night, Victoria and her brood went to see middle son Romeo play basketball on Saturday.

The family, minus David- who was playing with the L.A. Galaxy in New Jersey - looked relaxed and happy as they strolled through a park with their bulldog Coco and some friends.

Despite Victoria playing down her hopes for more children, pal Eva Longoria Parker told The Mirror this week that she admires the star's love for her family: 'She's a great mother,' the actress said.

'If you ever see her around her kids, you'll see that everything - everything - is about them and David.'
