An eye for the ladies: Kelly Brook with her pug pup Rocky

Kelly Brook's pug pup Rocky may only be a few months old, but he already has an eye for the ladies.

On a trip to the park last week, the tiny dog proved something of a handful for his owner, who was spending some quality time with her pet ahead of her trip to LA for the Oscars.

First he tried a spot of rough and tumble with a fellow pooch on a lead, then he let his snub nose do the talking, effortlessly charming its owner.

Even after some stern words from his owner he looked less than bashful. You can dress a boy in pink, Kelly, but you can't tame the beast within.

Nonetheless, he won over the model-turned-actress, who proceeded to take a few snaps of her companion on her phone.

Rocky was left in the capable care of the 30-year-old's rugby player boyfriend, Danny Cipriani for her trip Stateside this week.

But she probably could have done with a friendly face after bumping into ex-boyfriend Jason Statham at a pre-Academy Awards ceremony party last night.

Friends of the actor said he was keen to prevent Brook from meeting his new girlfriend Alex Zosman, who was seated with him just a few tables away from the former Big Breakfast presenter.

A source said: 'She looked stunning and Jason was there with his girlfriend - he didn't want the pair meeting.

'It was a pretty awkward situation. Kelly's name is a no-go with Jason's friends - no reference was made to her being there all night.'

Brook ended her seven year relationship with Statham in 2004 after falling for her Three co-star Billy Zane.

Kelly is set to move to Melbourne later this year after her boyfriend decided to leave London Wasps and signed a two-season contract with the Melbourne Rebels.

She will join him Down Under for at least five months when he moves there in September.
