Rihanna was no doubt still riding high after her spectacular performance of her new single, Rockstar 101, the night before.
She is now gearing up for her 25-date Last Girl on Earth Tour, which kicks off in Seattle on July 2.
While her career is certainly on track, it now seems like her love life is too.
This week she spoke for the first time about her relationship with American baseball star Matt Kemp.
She confessed the LA Dodgers outfielder was her boyfriend during an interview with Ryan Seacrest on his US radio show.
But she described their romance as 'nothing too serious'.
'He's my boyfriend,' she coyly said when asked to categorise her relationship with 25-year-old Kemp.
'It's new and it's fun and it's nothing too serious. I don't want anything that's going to take up too much of my energy or time right now.
'I just want to have fun and that's what it's about.'
Rihanna's relationship admission comes just over a year after she was attacked by then-boyfriend Chris Brown.
A leaked police picture showed the singer with a bruised and battered face following the R&B star's attack. Brown admitted felony assault in June last year.
