As torrential rain was finally replaced with sunshine, Blake Lively and Leighton Meester got back to work in the Upper East Side to film the show's new season but were still plagued by soaked pavements.
Just days ago, Penn Badgley was snapped pushing around a pram, spoiling his character’s fate in the upcoming season, and yesterday Blake and Leighton were the latest cast members to be seen on location.
And by the looks of Meester’s bra-less trouser-suit, the cold weather was getting the better of the star, who plays bitchy schemer Blair Waldorf on the hit series.
The 24-year-old's hectic schedule left her yawning away as she strolled the streets with her co-star Blake, who plays serial heart breaker Serena Van Der Woodsen.

Back to heels: Blake slipped her heels back on when the cameras started rollingThe 'BFFs' had only recently flown back to the US after a filming stint in Paris, where the pair got caught up in a cat fight which ended with Meester’s character pushing Blake into a fountain.
Off screen the girls have battled rumours of fighting too and a source told Us magazine that Blake and Leighton had ‘been fighting since last season’.
The source added: ‘Their rivalry stems from Leighton feeling left out of wardrobe decisions.’
But despite recent gossip, the co-stars seemed to be getting along during filming yesterday and showed no signs of a feud.
A dishevelled-looking Chace Crawford, who plays Nate Archibald, also joined in on the scene, acting alongside Blake, who his character dated in the last series.
The teen drama, which is based on the book series written by Cecily von Ziegesar, will return to our screens later this year.
