Quick getaway: Angelina Jolie jetted out of San Diego immediately after her appearance at Comic-Con yesterday

Angelina Jolie made a very quick getaway after her appearance at Comic-Con 2010 yesterday.

The actress dashed straight to the airport after her performing her obligatory promotional duties for her new movie, Salt.

She didn't even have time to change out of her leather jacket, pencil skirt and towering heels, instead boarding her private jet in full get-up.

This is how I roll: The star had a private jet waiting for her

Presumably the 35-year-old was eager to return to her family in Los Angeles, including partner Brad Pitt and children Maddox, 8, Pax, 6, Zahara, 5, Shiloh, 4, and 2-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

No time to change: The star boarded the flight in her leather jacket, pencil skirt and very high heels

She said she was filming a 'ridiculously' easy scene which involved her rolling onto the floor when she bashed into a desk, causing her to cut her head and resulting in a permanent scar above her eyebrows.

She said: 'I was bleeding and I have a little scar now.'

But that wasn't the only injury Angelina suffered.

Hello everyone! Angelina greeted the fan convention with a big smile

She continued: 'I couldn't hear everybody well, and I thought, "Oh God, I've done it. I have a concussion." But it turns out, I just still had my earplugs in, so I was fine.'

However, Angelina's stunt work impressed co-star Liev Schreiber, who said: 'She wanted to do every stunt, and she did. No CGI in the movie, no stunt double, it's all her.'

Angelina stars as CIA agent Evelyn Salt in the new film, a CIA agent who is accused of being a Russian spy.

Asked why she decided to take the role, Angelina explained: 'I love doing action, and I love doing dramatic films, and I've never really been able to combine them.
'Also there's something a little off about her, and maybe there's something a little off about me.'

She added: 'It was the first time I got to do something based in reality. This film is very much about your own personal line and I think it’s something we all have to come to terms with at some point in our life.'

Angelina was required to train in martial arts including Krav Maga and Muy Thai, and says she thoroughly enjoyed acting out the violent side of her character.

She laughed: 'I got to play with just about everything - including using a fire extinguisher in a way I'd never used it.'

Pitt was expected to also make an appearance at Comic-Con to promote his upcoming animated comedy Megamind, but was forced to cancel his planned appearance to continue shooting scenes for another of his upcoming films, Moneyball.
