And it seems Sarah Jessica Parker took note of the compliments - choosing to wear another outrageous headpiece from the famed milliner for the London premiere of the film sequel.
The 45-year-old actress accessorised her billowing Alexander McQueen black strapless dress with the towering hat and black lace platform court shoes.
Parker also wore a black armband, perhaps her way of paying tribute to late fashion designer McQueen, who committed suicide in February.

The actress has long been a fan of the designer's work, and famously wore a green coloured dress to the premiere of the first film in 2008.
Following his death, Parker said: 'He was talented well beyond his years and the seriousness and unrivalled talent which he applied to his work is in bountiful display year after year and collection after collection.'

Cynthia Nixon, who plays Miranda Hobbs in the film, added a splash of colour in an elegant teal dress with an asymmetric neckline, while Kristin Davis opted for a stylish metallic halterneck dress.
Britain's stars used the premiere to flaunt their sexiest little frocks.
